A Fantastic Saturday

Our games Friday night and Saturday were rained out (to be made up at a later date), but we made alternative plans for other fun things (Wings and Krispy Kreme Friday night with Jeff, Katrina, and baby Ella) and a full day Saturday.  Doug took Braddock to Free Comic Book Day and Treetop Adventures and I spent the day with Sawyer (we had a calmer, yet fun none-the-less day, complete with breakfast and playtime at Chick-Fil-A and a shopping trip where he was able to pick out any toy he wanted, which was another Spiderman toy to add to our collection, playtime and naptime at home on a cold and rainy May day).  Doug said Braddock was so excited and kept asking to have his picture made with the “Heroes”, and was so desperate to stay he was trying to get his picture taken with kids dressed as superheroes, ha.  It was nice to have individual time with the boys.  We ended to cold day grilling dinner and playing outside and Mommy and Daddy watched Silver Linings Playbook (Doug fell asleep during it but I highly recommend the movie, if my opinion means anything) .  Sunday we have a lazy day planned b/c we are both exhausted from the past work week (I have had to do long days of OT the past 2 weeks on campus at the hospital and man am I glad to be back working at home again as of Friday) and it is supposed to be another cold and rainy day.  My idea of a perfect weekend.
