A Day out with Thomas

A Few weeks ago we took the boys to A Day Out With Thomas.  Needless to say this event had been my leverage for the boys behavior in the weeks and months prior…”stop hitting brother or you wont ride Thomas” or “stop ignoring me or NO THOMAS FOR YOU”.  It worked perfectly.  It ended up coming a Monsoon the day of the event but it was a rain or shine event, so we made the best of it.  When we entered the gate and saw Thomas, Sawyer proceeded to jump up and down and turn in circles screaming “Thomas, Thomas!”.   Worth every penny.

Even the event camera was water logged:thomas

We ran into my cousin Amy and she took this pic of her son Caleb and my boys playing putt-putt in a rain-created lake:

My boys got right up front for the story telling car ( we loved this part for the shelter and warmth from the rain):
