Since the boys started at their new school in early Jan I have been promising them that the Cat in the Hat was going to be visiting them at school soon. But as Dr. Seuss week approached where most schools recognize the birthday of Dr. Seuss and celebrate, my family was attacked, again, by the horrible stomach virus. 14 days later we are finally all normal again, praise God. In the middle of the virus the boys missed the party at school. So I through an impromptu celebration at home (thankfully had a few things leftover from their Seuss themed 3rd birthday party). I cooked green eggs and ham (thank you to Daddy who stopeed at the store on the way home, as Mommy was quarentined to our home) and we read The Cat in the Hat and watched the movie the Cat in the Hat. They had a blast:)
