Valentine’s Day

The boys woke up in a not so great mood(easy to do before 6am) and the sour mood continued once we got to (the awesome new) school and when Saw realized the ice cream party that I had promised him was not happening immediately, he had a small fit. As my work day began, I began to think how great it would be to attend the party with the boys. I called the school and asked specifically what time the boys class party was and she said 2:. I repeated the time and she said yes. I got so excited and rearranged my work schedule (putting me working into the late hours of the night so that I could get off early), and talked Doug in to meeting me there on his way home from work.  We get there and all lights are off and everyone is asleep.  The lady asked if I heard her say 2: (clearly I did because I repeated it and she agreed) and she had meant 10: (which was almost the exact time I called this morning…).  Lesson learned, find out party times in advance, and confirm them over and over (the boys were out sick the day before so I didn’t get to ask then).  I thought it a little odd to have an ice cream party for toddlers at 10 in the morning (I am just bitter, I know…we love their new school, I am just having a pity party b/c I missed their fun).  Here are some Valentine Pics:
