We celebrated the boys’ 3rd birthday on Sunday the 25th, the day after their birthday (the Iron Bowl fell on their birthday this year and we didn’t think it would be fair to try to plan the 2 together). My hopes were to keep this party small this year because I know soon enough the boys will expect large parties, and will insist on inviting school friends and tee-ball friends. So I thought this might be my last change to go small and stay wallet-friendly. Of course I started planning the theme months ago. Braddock and Sawyer have been obsessed with the movie the Cat in the Hat, which lead to them being Thing One and Thing Two for Halloween, and lead to the party theme of Dr. Seuss.
They were professional gift openers this year as well as rocked at blowing out the candles on their cake. They loved every gift (except for the clothes from Momma and Daddy haha, and the wolf slippers we gave them, though they have a fascination and love for wolves, it’s a little scary to have their bedroom slippers “howl” at them).
