This year’s Santa visit was a complete success!  We went the 2nd weekend in November when we knew there would be less wait which meant less time for toddler anxiety to build.  We went with Chandler and Elliot and the boys got to watch them meet Santa first.  When it was their turn, Braddock walked up to Santa on his own and got in his lap.  Saw was a little more timid in my arms, but by the end we got several smiling pics and had to ask the boys to leave Santa’s lap.  They now talk about Santa often and Braddock remembers him for giving him candy (a candy cane).  I now have to teach them that Santa brings toys as well.  Just tonight they were playing Santa and would take turns sitting in each others’ laps, saying “Ho, Ho, Ho” and giving pretend candy to each other:)
