Today we took the boys on a stroll down memory lane, to meet their first “first” cousin Adlee (she will get her own blog post when I get my SD card to a good computer to upload her pics), at the very hospital that they were born. The bottom picture is the door to room 417, where I spent almost 8 weeks on bedrest hoping the boys would not come too soon. The top image is from our visit to the NICU where we saw 2 of the amazing nurses who took good care of them. Melanie is pictured, who has twins of her own, and gave twin advice while I would spend my hours in the NICU. Sharon, the nurse who was there for both boys send-offs to our home from the NICU. was also there today. Its ironic that Mandi went into the hospital in labor 3 years later to the day that I did the same thing. October 7, a date I will never forget.
