Since I can’t blog as often as I would like (have I mentioned that my backup computer is slow?) I am going to try a quick mishaps of life update.  There has been lots of sickness with ear infections for me and Braddock as well as many doctors visits (yey for insurance, boo for leftover Dr. bills) but as of now we are all healthy. Sawyer head-butted me and broke my nose,  literally 3 weeks later and still hurts.  Gigi fell and tore her rotator cuff, so boys are in daycare full-time now.  But they absolutely love going to “school” everyday.  In the middle of all of this Doug had to go to south Mississippi to help with the backlog from Hurricane Issac.  One afternoon while Daddy was traveling B and S wrestled in our grass and after 45 seconds B was covered in biting red ants:(  He must have been in an ant bed.  So he was in pain and did not sleep much for the next few nights after that.  We even had a mini 4-wheeler wreck in our driveway today, ending with bloody booboos and tears.  Such is the life of active toddlers.  Also, our Auburn Tigers are not doing so well in football just yet this season, but I still have faith.

Sure it sounds like we have been handed a few lemons.  But we have made some great memories as well (including the Braves game in previous post) as well as many weekends at the lake, which I may post separately, but in case I do not, my boys no longer afraid of deep water and “swim” with their puddle jumpers on!  This is a huge step that happened over the course of this summer.  I am also loving working from home.  I roll out of bed and clock into work.  This means a lunchtime shower everyday, which is rejuvenating in the middle of the day.  I am loving not fighting downtown Birmingham traffic anymore, and I also love saving that gas money:)

So that’s my update for the past month or so.  I am still sad I am not using my nice camera often, but with my computer it seems that my cellphone is the only thing I can transfer pics with.  Though it has fed my addiction to Instagram.  IF you don’t know what this is, you need to try it. Seriously.  You can thank me later.  I also have the finishing touches on the boys Halloween costumes ordered.   Nothing elaborate, but they will be stinkin’ cute.

An Instagram pic of just a few of about 60 of Braddock’s ant bites, the day after:
