At the suggestion of my cousin Amy, this weekend we camped at Little Mountain Marina Camping Resort on Lake Guntersville. We arrived Friday night and left Sunday. The boys had a blast. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t exhausted, but I think anyone would be trying to keep up with 2 active toddlers. Towards the end of our adventure it was almost as if the boys became an attraction, with the people stopping at our campsite to talk to them, and one couple came back around to us with their camera (they weren’t shady looking so I was okay with it). Of course I love it that other people find them so fascinating. I will never forget the first time this happened, we were at a restaurant and a couple randomly took the boys pictures in their infant carriers. We like to say they have Paparazzi 😉
Pictures are in random order-
They were fascinated with throwing rocks in this puddle, such boys:
Mommy and boys out for a walk (one of the few times they weren’t sprinting around):
Their faces stay this messy while camping, no matter how often I clean them (though they are still precious):
Their 1st kite flying experience with Daddy…they found it funny to let go of the kite in mid-flight so that Daddy would have to chase it:
They passed out the 2nd night from too much fun! :
Our lights, for now (others are on order):
When they were bored with the toddler slide, they would go to the big kid slide (scary for Mommy):
Playing Putt-Putt:
Braddock wanted to help Daddy gather firewood:
