As we waited on the guy to run purchase a new mattress for the camper (apparently they didn’t think we would buy the camper that day), we decided to go to Wal-Mart and buy a few things for it (linens, etc)…and at some point it was mentioned that we should camp that night at Tannehill. While Doug finished waiting on the guy I drove the boys home and hurriedly packed us for our first family camping trip. I am such a planner ( I am such a list maker) so it was challenging to pack a family of 4 for a spontaneous overnight trip. Plus the boys can now unlock the deadlock locks so every few seconds I was watching them to make sure they weren’t escaping from the house. We made it to Tannehill eventually, and boy was this Mommy worn out. Awake since 4am, worked a full day of work, packed our family, chased 2 toddlers, and drove all over central Alabama can do that to anyone. And it was all worth it. The boys had a blast, and when they are happy, Mommy is happy.
